But the bigger question remains: who does Lars have in mind for his titular lead? The part will certainly be demanding in some unique ways and lord knows what LVT will be bring to a film about hardcore sex, but we’re guessing a complete unknown or perhaps a porno star proper will be getting the next phone call. And even though Lars is currently deep in “research” mode for the film, it appears he’s getting an early start on casting as shooting isn’t set to begin until next summer.
Taking a philosophical approach, LVT cites Thomas Mann‘s “ Buddenbrooks” and Marcel Proust‘s “ In Search Of Lost Time” (let’s see you make funny porno names out of those books!) as inspirations for his upcoming film while teasing that chapters in the movie will bear such titles as “The Western and Eastern Church” and “The Little Organ School.” This will certainly be the brainiest skin flick we’ve ever seen.
